Copy/Paste

If you have alot of comments or discussion posts that are the same then you might like PasteItIn, ClipMate, or ClipMagic.  There are others out there two but these are the ones I have had most success with.  ClipMate and ClipMagic are Free and PasteItIn is $20 but they will let you categorize and title your items to store then when you need it you just click on it and insert it.  I saves me a lot of time.

Loving symbaloo

I am really enjoying Symbaloo.  It makes it very easy if you are going from computer to computer to work, you have all your address there without having to remember the full web address.   Thanks Vickey for sharing that.

Dragon software

Dragon Naturally Speaking is a good software for controlling your computer through voice.  You can do commands through it but what I like is if I am typing alot I can just talk and it will type it for your.  There is a little adjustment curve and you know how I talk so it has to adjust to your voice.   The longer you use it the more accurate it is becuase as you correct things it "remembers" and will adjust next time.  It is a little pricey...$100 -200 depending on what you get but it can be very beneficial.

Remind 101

Many of you may have used this before and I think it went out recently through the media specialists but if not here you go.  Reminder101 is a good tool to use to set up reminders for students or teachers.  The person receiving can choose if it comes to them through email or text.  You can set it up to with future dates so you don't have to remember yourself to send something.

I have been using it with some of my colleges for about a year and a half to set reminders of tests and when things are due.  The students appreciate it and those that do not want to participate in it don't have to.  They sign up on their own.  It is very easy to use and it is FREE!!!
We will finish up tonight.  Thanks so much to Vickey for doing a great job. I have enjoyed the discussion with everyone.  Have a great weekend.
